The local food co-op is a 12-15 minute drive. In addition to being your source for bulk organic food and other co-op staples, they have a hot bar that has breakfast and brunch food on weekends, and lunch/dinner every day, at very reasonable prices. Also, good coffee to go.

Drinks & Nightlife

Our local bar, around the corner at 5719 Bryant (corner of Bryant St. and N. St. Clair), is a good place to hang out and talk with friends. It's on the quiet side, for a bar, and they have good food.

Sightseeing

Gorgeous neogothic skyscraper built in the 1930s with soaring interiors that look like a cross between European cathedrals and Hogwarts. It's part of the University of Pittsburgh campus. You can tour the nationality rooms (classrooms meticulously designed to evoke different countries or cultures) and in November and December, every nationality room is decorated for the holidays. Great tours, and amazing views from the upper floors.
