Travel up to the top of the peninsula and check this out if you haven't been. You won't be disappointed. The setting for "Home and Away", it's really beautiful. If you're feeling energetic hike up to the lighthouse (do not forget water!). Otherwise just stroll around and enjoy the beach

If you're in Manly and have some time to stroll along Marine Parade to this beach it's worth it. Lovely cafes at the end and this lovely sheltered beach is great for snorkelling.

This place is fantastic. Overlooking Pittwater and with a deck over the water it's so good that it gets very busy at weekends. If you can manage to get a table the food and location do not get much better.

We would recommend walking along Mona Vale Beach for breakfast at this place. It will take around 30 minutes to walk door to door but it's a really great walk along the beach

We recommend Newport for food in the evening because this is only a short drive north along Pittwater Road and has a good selection of restaurants, Asian, Indian, Italian, all in one street
