In the heart of Roberts Creek, a lovely village just 10 minutes from Gibsons at the coast. Lots of character! Sometimes there are evening musical events and it turns into a pub....

This is a beautiful area where a forest trail leads to coastline hiking in a protected area. Unique mosses are the reason for this being designated an ecologically protected area. Stunning coastal views, southern sunny exposure so it can get quite hot in the summer. Sea life can often be viewed here.... we watched a pod of killer whales swim past the coast on one magical day.

Francis Point Provincial Park
This is a beautiful area where a forest trail leads to coastline hiking in a protected area. Unique mosses are the reason for this being designated an ecologically protected area. Stunning coastal views, southern sunny exposure so it can get quite hot in the summer. Sea life can often be viewed here.... we watched a pod of killer whales swim past the coast on one magical day.
Provincial park located in the Alpine... you need a 4 X 4 to get here to be on the safe side, rough driving at times but so worth it when you get there. Alpine hiking at its best right here on the Sunshine Coast. There is a collection of beautiful and rustic cabins at Bachelor Lake, Edwards Lake, Mount Steele, and McNair Cabin all accessible within several hours. Hiking is suited to people with good outdoor skills and endurance, altitude gains required. Views are spectacular!! Best in the summer but hardy people ski in during the winter and overnight.... first come first serve...
