Pair makes GOOD food, the kind that makes you stop mid-sentence to savor more completely. We don't go often because it's more expensive and you need reservations, but ohhh, it's good.

MY FAVE! We stop by almost daily. Coffee, cafe with dedicated internet section, beer, kid's play area, books, great food, fabulous fresh cut fries. GREAT place!

Sightseeing
A beautiful zoo. It's just as inspiring for its plantings as it is for its animals. Feeding the giraffes is a favorite experience & totally worth the extra $5.

Kayaking Lake Union is a great way to get a different view of Seattle (especially the houseboats) and a little exercise. We recommend going in the morning when there's less wind and it's quiet.

I love this particular Whole Foods Market for its smaller scale, front-of-store cafe, neighborhood-i-ness, and terrific employees. For me, it's one of the hearts of the neighborhood.

GOOD FOOD and it's close. It's not my absolute favorite because the layout bugs me & it's a little more expensive, but again, the FOOD!
