Its a nice sandy beach. Also Easthaven and Westaven beaches which can be reached by mostly off road paved cycle paths.
Broughty Ferry is also worth a look and good for cafes, bars and restaurants Try the 'Ship' pub which has an upstairs restaurant which serves basic but good food.
