Zeerover's is one of the most popular Savaneta Aruba restaurants. It provides customers with fresh fish caught on the same day, along with other traditional dishes such as funchi, rice, and platano. Its located right on the water, and has the most amazing view of the sunset. I recommend you visiting Zeerovers after having spent a day at Arikok park and baby beach.

Pelican pier, just right on the beach next to the holiday inn hotel (in front of paseo herencia mall). This restaurant/Bar is perfect for any meal of the day: from lunch, aperitif, to dinner. It has a variety of cocktails and great local dishes. I suggest you to try the grilled grouper and fried calamari or ceviche if you like a raw appetizer. This location is also great for watching the sunset.

Papiamento is my favorite restaurant on the Island of Aruba. Its located in an Arubian traditional house, called the “cunucu house”, a house built 127 years ago. It offers amazing Arubian local dishes, drinks, and desserts. The restaurant, is decorated with antiques which date back to the 1800's, surrounded by beautiful lights and nature.

Azia Fusion is the best, in my opinion, sushi restaurant on the island. It does not only provide sushi, but also many other asian dishes. The price is range is a little high, but definitely worth it. It is located near the hotels, and right by many night bars.

Sightseeing

The oldest church-related location in Aruba draws inhabitants, worshippers, and tourists all year long (the older chapel perished; this is a modern one). Be mindful of the fact that the church still holds services when you are there since it is positioned on a hilltop with views of the ocean and soothing breezes. For those looking for inner serenity and comfort, a tranquil labyrinth is located behind the charming chapel. Numerous hiking and bike routes travel across the cactus-dotted countryside towards the beach below from Alto Vista's parking area.

Driving inland, you'll see that Aruba is home to enormous boulders and rock formations, some of which have been transformed into little parks that are open to the public without charge. The smaller Casibari Rock Formations offer a pleasant trip for everyone, with easy stairs to ascend to the top of the rocks affording beautiful 360-degree views. The larger rock structure Ayo is famed for its more difficult climb and surviving Indian rock carvings. Small yet well-equipped with native flora, the neighborhood park is great for taking pictures. After the mild ascent, a casual pub and café with the same name is across the park and serves drinks and snacks.

This monument is a perennial delight to visit and is named after a lost ship, "The California," which triggered the need for a lighthouse near the island's most northern point. Beautiful sand dunes, a fresh coco stand, expansive vistas, and of course the California Lighthouse itself all provide for memorable experiences and images. The tower's summit is accessible to anyone without a fear of heights.

Join the residents in their daily exercise regimen by ascending all 572 of Hooiberg, the third-highest peak in Aruba. As a treat for your full-body exercise, a cool wind and 360-degree views of the island are waiting for you at the top. Avoid going outside between 10 am and 4 pm, and wear appropriate clothing and sunscreen. Be aware that the majority of the steps lack handrails, so make sure you are prepared for this outdoor workout. When parked at the bottom of the hill, keep valuables out of the car.

Arikok National Park has an extraordinarily diverse terrain that is open for exploration and serves as a protected refuge for numerous animal species. There are several defined and signposted hiking paths. For a map of the park and to pay your admission charge, stop by the visitor center. Reservations must be made in advance for the guided hikes led by a local ranger, which are also offered. We advise making the trek to Moro, sometimes known as "Little Aruba," one of the island's remotest beaches. The Natural Pool, one of Aruba's most well-liked attractions and a singular island experience in and of itself, is located right next to Moro and is only a short 5-minute walk away. Don't go swimming or snorkeling in the open seas here.

Beautiful corals may be seen at Malmok past the main swimming area on the right-hand side. An tiny cove was fashioned out of the limestone cliffs that surround this western section of shoreline just after Malmok Beach. A little beach and cove with access to the clearest seas are reached by a few limestone stairs. Noting that this cove is busy in the afternoons (5–6 pm) and on weekends, try to avoid these times for the greatest experience. You may stop in Boca Catalina on your way to Arashi Beach farther down the road. The greatest snorkeling in Aruba can be found at this white-sand beach that offers walk-in access to offshore coral heads loaded with reef fish!

Not only is Arashi Beach one of our favorites, but locals like it beyond everything else. The beach is lined with huts that provide tourists with shade, and it's a perfect area to socialize with locals or enjoy a lovely picnic. Arashi's clean waters make it the perfect place to go snorkeling and explore Aruba's diverse undersea ecosystem. Additionally, bodyboarding and short wave surfing are both possible here when the wind rises up a bit. Arashi tends to grow busy on the weekends, so we advise going during the week.

Three of our local treasures, Baby Beach, Rodger's Beach, and Coco Beach, must be seen when touring the southernmost point of the island. These beaches are quite peaceful since they are on the leeward side of the island and are shielded by a sizable outer reef. Baby Beach is a stunning, sandy, half-moon-shaped area that envelops a tranquil lagoon. As suggested by the moniker "Baby Beach," it is a popular family beach because of the shallow waves there. Swimmers can go out far enough to still reach the ocean floor. Aruba's Baby Beach is a great place to go snorkeling. Snorkelers will see a vibrant rainbow of coral and tropical fish in this area.

Mangel Halto Beach is located midway between Palm Beach and Baby Beach, on the boundary of Savaneta and Pos Chikito. Mangel Halto is an absolute gem. The beach is covered in a fascinating network of mangroves, with sandy clearings leading to the shallow seas teeming with marine life. It's a must-visit snorkeling location and a genuine neighborhood hangout. You may purchase beverages and food in the similarly named tavern next to Mangel Halto, if necessary.
