Sightseeing
Easy to get to, near the hub bub of downtown B-town plus great trail to work those legs a bit. Earn a beautiful view and still easily make it to dinner out. About 1.35 miles to the top. (Don't give up! The trail tries to shake you the first 3/4 mile but gives lots of variation, level area breaks the last 1/3). Watch for runners that will blow your mind going up and down this beautiful Boulder trail.

If driving be CAUTIOUS
Cyclists and pedestrians are a MAINSTAY in Boulder. A newbie to B-Town is always evident if they drive in the bike lanes. An absolutely frightening site for most locals is seeing cars careening into even empty bike lanes. If you head North to Lyons be super careful of the shoulder as cyclists, from pro, to groups to everyone in between (including runners!) use the shoulder.

No reason to buy much new in Boulder. Expect to find the most expensive and current items to furnish your house, fill your kitchen, sport out your athletic gear or dress yourself by going to Goodwill or Salvation Army.
Want to try a sport or enhance your athletic gear (running, cycling, climbing, backpacking, etc...). Boulder's best kept secret is the VERY COOL, VERY AFFORDABLE Boulder Sports Recycler. Avoid "Play it Again" and try here before trying to buy used on Pro's Closet or even the unmentionable C-lister This place is splitting at the seams with GREAT gear.
