This is a bit of a drive from our place, but it will be worth the effort! Gorgeous and unique views. Costs about $10 per vehicle to enter the park. (Just don't go DOWN the dunes without being prepared for the workout of your life to get back up. We learned that the hard way.)

Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore

This is a close walk from our place! It has a little bit of everything- gift shop, bakery, cafe for breakfast and lunch, our favorite pizza, resale store, playground, and an orchard to enjoy! Open 6 days (closed Sundays).

Oh man. You have to get a crepe from here (especially an apple cinnamon one). Or their homemade ice cream with really unique flavors! They also have savory crepes.

This restaurant is actually called "Thai Ginger" now. Yummy Thai food! We like the Thai chicken fried rice and the Pad Thai. Takeout is available too.

A little more on the expensive side for a coffee shop, but the ingredients are all high quality and the staff is great. Has some seating as well. Definitely captures the "experience" of a quaint little coffee shop!

A great option for dinner. Entrees range from about $15-$25, with a good variety. Not around many other things to see, but the drive to get there is pretty and the food is worth the trek!
