A 5 min walk from our house, wonderful Japanese dishes served in small sizes so you can taste many! A real pleasure for your taste buds!
The downside is that it's a bit loud. Lunch might be more quiet... Give it a try!

Tea lovers, that's your place! fun spot in heart of downtown, right smack on Exhange street (15/20 min walk from our house). The space is very cute with a choice of chairs and tables or sweet "sit-on-the-floor little islands" (you'll see what I mean when you get there). I recommend their Hotcha tea, a hot matcha green tea with milk and honey (watch out though if you're sensitive to caffein!), not to confuse it with a hot matcha (which is a regular plain matcha green tea). If you'd still like the experience of rich and sweet try their decaf Chai Chai Chai, my go-to in the evening!

Should plan to get there super early if you're driving; the later it is the harder it gets to park! Easy access with bikes; 20 to 25 min walk from our house. They are also in Downtown (Congress Square) on Wednesday mornings. Not as big but a great excuse to go and also explore the book store (Long Fellow books) down the street, the library that's just across and the Public market which is an indoor collective of different restaurants and food vendors.
