Beautiful beach walk in Watch Hill. We love to walk to the end and back especially during the Fall and Spring. Note: during the summer, parking is really tough!

This is one of the most popular public beaches in Rhode Island! Get there early (10-11am) during the summer to avoid a big traffic jam getting into the parking lot.

Cool new (2023) bar and restaurant in downtown Westerly. In my opinion, it's the best cocktails in town! They also have a clam bar attached. Order the fried smelts!

Fun place to go in the fall. It's an old steam powered cider mill where they make really great homemade cider and apple cider donuts. There's not a ton to do there but it's a nice drive through the foliage and good way to spend a couple hours.

In the summer they have quite a bit of seating outdoors. During the offseason, seating is very limited and you will likely have to wait.

Mystic is a great nearby town to spend an afternoon. They have a cute downtown with shops and restaurants, including Mystic Pizza, the namesake of the famous Julia Roberts film (which was filmed there!).

Downtown Westerly is just a mile from the bungalow -- we highly recommend walking there, going through Wilcox park and browsing the small shops.

Watch Hill is technically part of Westerly but has a much different vibe -- a famous seaside getaway for the upper crust. The town is only open from May - October although you can visit year round to walk out to the lighthouse or Napatree point. Be sure to check out the Ocean House and of course drive by Taylor Swift's house.
