This spot is one of my go-to lunch spots. It's kind of like a chipotle for mediterranean food. Stuff your pita with falafel, shwarma, or chicken, choose a rice, add toppings and sauces. They also have a dessert bar.

This is a beer and billiards spot. A wide variety of craft beers to choose from and affordable pool tables and darts. Happy hour specials (check out their site). Walking distance. During late nights, a food truck can usually be found outside.

They have housemade poutine, vegan mac and cheese, stellar Brussel sprouts and sweet potato tater tots. Great cocktails (I recommend the "Ace"). A spot I love to visit before or after a movie at the Laemmle Cinema.

It opened on May 15, 1927, and is the oldest continually operating hotel in Los Angeles. The hotel has a total of eight restaurant, bars and lounges.

Perhaps my favorite trail of all during sunset. Great 360 views of both the valley and city of Los Angeles. Steep trail but worth the effort to see the "Wisdom Tree" at the top. If there are some clouds in the sky, it makes for the best sunset illuminating all of Los Angeles. Can also hike to the Hollywood sign from the top.
