Simple, amazing central Mexican Cuisine. They have been closed for a while to solve problems with the smoke released from their Mesquite grill. Should be reopening by the end of Mar 2018. It doesn't get much better than this if you want great food at a reasonable price. Always rated the 2nd or 3rd best restaurant in San Antonio. This the first place our family wants to go when then come to visit. And the last place before they leave! We love it.

Best Gelato in SA. We have gotten to know the owners, she is from Italy and between the husband and wife they run a great place. We go there for the Gelato but they have a sandwich menu also. If you want real Italian Gelato this is it!

Located in a strip mall but the Kolache's are wonderful and the service friendly and helpful. Lots of choices to make your breakfast decisions difficult. It's a 15 minute drive from us but well worth it. If you haven't had Kolache's then they should be your first!

On the weekends the line for their drive thru streches several blocks long....they do two things, donuts and breakfast taco's. Make sure you get in the correct lane if you are doing the drive-thru. Always highly rated in reader polls of SA taco joints.
