Bunbury’s main street is pumping with new wines bars, restaurants and cafes. Victoria Street, also known by the locals as the Cappuccino Strip, is dotted with establishments which are cosy in the winter, and alfresco in warmer months. When the fairy lights come on each night, restaurants, wine bars, pubs and nightclubs create a lively scene. Other small eating precincts are at the Marlston Waterfront, Jetty Baths and Austral Parade, East Bunbury. Venture out into the Geographe Wine Region and enjoy the fantastic food and drink. This region has a boutique feel, and more often than not the person behind the counter is the person behind the wine. Treat yourself to a boutique food- and wine-lovers’ paradise out in the Ferguson Valley, with amazing home-style rustic winery food, wood-fired pizza, traditional French cuisine, and food matched perfectly with micro-brewed beer. Hackersley’s five-course degustation menu will completely delight you.

Sightseeing

Bunbury is a port city in Western Australia, south of Perth. It's known for wild bottlenose dolphins that often swim close to the beach at Koombana Bay. Nearby is the Dolphin Discovery Centre and the Leschenault Inlet, with calm waters and parkland rich with mangroves and birdlife. Bunbury’s western coastline spans popular Back Beach and Wyalup-Rocky Point, with its basalt rock formations

The ship-wreck-themed Bunbury splash park has over 40 water features, with a giant tipping bucket and many spray zones. The biggest hit has to be the bucket, which fills and splashes the kids about every five minutes. There are also a few smaller splash buckets around the splash park.

A new interactive nature playground with wheelchair accessibility has opened in the heart of Bunbury. Cycle along the bicycle path which hugs the coastline or take a gentle stroll to revel in the beauty of the surrounds.
