This is an amazing taco place! They have innovative fares and is a short walk from the unit. The place itself is small so consider ordering ahead on the website and doing takeout. Have a little picnic at Holstein or Senior Citizens Park right near by! There are many authentic taco places on Western Ave in the neighborhood that are all great but this one is definitely unique and very popular.

If you'd like to do a nicer rooftop with great drinks (and good food), consider the Robey. There are many amazing rooftop bars in Chicago closer to downtown but this is a really nice one that's walkable from the unit.

A lovely speakeasy in the Wicker Park neighborhood, about a 15-20min walk away. It's technically hidden but there's usually a line outside that gives away where the door is. It's a wonderful local secret!

There's a few of these nearby in the Wicker Park and Logan Square neighborhoods, both a short drive/walk/train ride away from the unit. A great place to get drinks, local beers and play a bunch of different arcade games. Kind of like a local Dave & Busters with a lot of flare :)

Commonly referred to as the 606 in Chicago, it's a wonderful walking/biking/running trail that runs for about 2.5 miles across west Chicago. It's an old converted railroad track turned into a wonderfully renovated above ground trail. The Milwaukee St. entrance is about a 10min walk from the unit.

Sightseeing
A very large gated in park that we love. There's a small baseball diamond, benches and a lot of lawn to sit or bring games and play in. There's also a playground just north of the park and a public swimming pool in the summer.
