The surrounding streets are crammed with traditional tavernas and restaurants, many with Acropolis views.

Walk under Acropolis
To experience the ancient center of Athens, you can take the metro and in 5 minutes you will be at the ancient neighborhood under Acropolis where you can walk and sightsee but also drink and need in many great restaurants/bars with a great view.
(Red line for one stop in Omonoia and change to Green line for one more stop to Monastiraki or Thisio stop)
