Long Beach is great for swimming, surfing, SUP and body boarding. If you are looking for a longer walk, carry on with the beach and it eventually connects with Noordhoek beach. It's about 6km one way. There are public toilets at the beach.

To get from Noordhoek to Hout Bay you can drive the beautiful Chapman's Peak Drive. There is a tollgate that you have to pay for (R50 per vehicle) if you go all the way to Hout Bay. Pack a picnic as there are few spots along the route to enjoy the views.
This drive can be closed when it is bad weather. If you are a keen runner, park in Hout Bay and run all the way up to the look out which is about 5km.
