Neighborhoods
At the beginning of the 1900s this was a very popular place for a week/weekend getaway from NYC. People came here via train from Grand Central to Kingston, NY. Then changed to Ashokan rail which brought them to Pine Hill, NY. Followed by horse and buggy to many hotels. The most famous was called "The Grand Hotel" which had its own golf course. Much of the past history is still visible all around this area.
