The exhibition depicts history of the Warsaw Uprising in 1944. Museum is well prepared for foreign visitors. Audio guides are available in many languages. It is even more attractive as vaious audiovisual and multimedia communications techniques have been applied.
In the museum we have a possibility to watch a movie “City of ruins” that demonstrates the enormity of the destruction of Warsaw in 1945.

Palace of the Culture and Science has been for many years the most controversial building in Warsaw. Erected in 1955, was the gift from the Soviet Union to the people of Poland. It is the tallest building in Warsaw. In the building we can find cinema, swimming pool, coffee places, exhibitions, theater and clubs. On the 30th floor there is a terrace with a panoramic view of the city. For some of Warsaw citizens it is a symbol of Stalin domination. However, for younger generations it is a symbol of the capital city, recognizable for everyone.

On the 30th floor there is a terrace with a panoramic view of the city. For some of Warsaw citizens it is a symbol of Stalin domination. From the Old Town until the Wilanów Palace leads the Royal Route . Starting from the Royal Castle until the Royal Baths Park it is a great tour to take.
On our way we will see old churches, campus of the University of Warsaw, palaces and the two oldest hotels in the capital and our place. The street was completely renovated in 2008.
