Eagle's Rock is 14km from the property. It is a must for any level of hiker. This rock face was carved out by a glacier during the last ice age. It is an hour and a half hike to the summit from the carpark.

The Gleniff Horseshoe can be driven to or even better cycled to from the property. Set in a valley of the Darty mountains it hosts the highest cave in Ireland Diarmuid and Grainne's cave. This is one of our favourite hikes.

Streedagh beach is a 3km long sandy beach famous for having three Spanish Armada ship wrecks. Only 14 min drive from the guesthouse, close to Grange village. It is also popular among surfers.

The Slieve League cliffs are the highest sea cliffs on the island of Ireland. Although less famous than the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare, Slieve League's cliffs reach almost three times higher. The car park is 1 hour and 20 mins drive from the guest house.

The summit of Knocknarea provides panoramic views of Sligo and the North West of Ireland and is a magical place where land meets sky. Park at Sligo Rugby club carpark, which is a 30 min drive from the guest house.

The hike to Benbulben commences at Lukes Bridge and the ascent route climbs gently up the gully and to the summit plateau. Can also be climbed via the Gleniff Horseshoe via the old Barite mines.

Harrisons Bar & Restaurant is the closet restaurant to the Guesthouse situated in Cliffony village. It serves a great pint and excellent pub grub. I recommend the monk fish and chips. The burgers are great too.
