Atwater's is a favorite brunch/ lunch/ coffee/ tea spot. "Trust the menu", because it's all good. There's something for everyone, including plenty of vegetarian/ vegan/ gluten-free options. This historic place- the first, and largest- of all of the Enoch Pratt Library branches is indeed an active and bustling library (I’ve done some research and checked out books there myself!) that has wonderful events, especially for children. The librarians are amazing, and you’ll feel a sense of wonder the second you step inside.

Prices are insanely reasonable, especially on vintage items: most are in the $15-$50 range. We’re talking $42 vintage Levi’s and $30-$80 dresses and leather bags.
The best part, in my opinion? Unlike many boutiques, you are left to shop in PEACE. The very cool shopkeepers (usually the women who own the shop!) are there to help if you have any questions, but they will never hover over you or pressure you into a sale.
