Amazing views from the top of the hill, and then 198 wooden steps down on Henry street, in between houses that have no road access. My favorite walk!

When you are hiking in the canyon, it feels like you are in the wilderness. There is a creek (the Islais Creek that pours into the bay), a natural rock-climbing wall, several trails, and if you are lucky, wildlife sighting--coyotes, hawks, and great horned owls. The canyon is home to 2 native species found nowhere else: a newt and a butterfly.
