This convenience store in Adin is a great little market, a snack bonanza! You can get gas there, worms for fishing plus they carry ammo and you could get a special coffee! Also propane is available and some grocery items - great folks who will take good care of you!

This store has just about everything from hardware to camping supplies, gift items, food items, cards, ice, gas, igloo coolers and fishing licenses! Whatever you need they probably have it and great folks, don't know what we'd do without this store!!

McArthur Burney Falls Memorial Park is a must see! Beautiful hiking trails and spectacular falls plus a lake where you can swim and boat - if you want a spot on the little sandy beach area you'll have to get there early! There is a BBQ area, paddle boats and kayaks for rent and a general store where you can get souvenirs and ice cream - you will love this park!

McArthur Burney Falls Memorial Park is a must see! 1 Indian Well Campground TrailA must see if you love hiking and exploring and caves! There are a couple of flashlights at Haven of Rest for you to take along with you and don't forget a jacket as it can be chilly in the tubes! There are 25 marked tubes to see - a delightful adventure!
A great day trip that you can see on the way to Mt Shasta - easy hiking and car accessible and beautiful to view and meander peacefully in nature and great photos!

Beautiful Park with lots of hiking and sightseeing possibilities - in the winter there is a lot of snow so plan on seeing this in summer and very early fall. So worth the drive for scenery!

Great hike, though more strenuous it's very rewarding - good only in summer as not open for snowy seasons. Bring your jacket even in the heat of summer as it will be colder and colder plus often windy the higher you go. Can be done in a day - i probably wouldn't take younger than 10 year olds on this hike if it were me and seasoned in hiking and outdoor activity

This is a very rural area with lots of things to see but you will need to drive your own vehicle to all locations.

Bring jackets as temperatures even in summer can drop up to 40 degrees - winter can bring snowy icy roads so chains really important or good 4 wheel or all wheel drive and jackets and boots!

Shopping for groceries
If you need major groceries to do a lot of cooking we recommend shopping in Burney or Susanville, Redding or Klamath on your way through where the selection will be larger - we do have two great smaller markets locally for things you need

Fall River Mills has a gorgeous 18 hole championship golf course that you will want to take in if you're a golfer!!!

Our area has an old fashioned fair in Mcarthur with lots of exhibits, carnival, FFA animal competitions, horse show, evening concert, food and crafts that you will want to take in if you enjoy old fashioned country fairs! It's always on Labor Day Weekend
