The Park located at the end of Rua Gago Coutinho, has entrance through a beautiful gate that gives access to an area of 24,750 m2 where you can see a small lake, avenues, lawns, trees and tropical plants. Because it is an area of the Governor's residence, the place is very well policed. It is worth to visit this beautiful park.

The opportunity came when, finally, the property has gained a musical identity and had to give it a name. Lacerda didn´t have to think too much. The room name was Cecilia Meireles Concert Hall. In Lapa, the city center, the room became, over the years, an important space of training and dissemination of concert music in Rio de Janeiro.
