Agnes is a beach side town is just a few hours drive north of Hervey Bay. A small but adventure packed town surrounded by rocky headlands and beautiful golden beaches. A great place to experience a sunset kayak with wild dolphins, razz around town on one of the iconic Harley lookalike scooters or take a scenic flight over to Middle Island for the overnight Castaway experience.
1770 is where Captain Cook first set foot on Aussie soil and it has since become a famous landmark putting 1770 and Agnes Water firmly on the tourist map. Definitely pay this place a visit if you are into coffee and cake. They bake them fresh every day and the coffee is a solid 8/10. The lunch and breakfast menu is delicious too using local produce and changing up the menu quite regularly.
