Yep folks a great county park with in one mile of our house. Hiking trains, playgrounds and an amazing list of activities. At Christmas they have their festival of lights. One of the best in the south

This is an amazing ship! All kinds of history is here not just on the Yorktown but around it. If you have a chance go across the bridge and visit this amazing place.

If you want a quieter beach experience than Folly Beach, we recommend Isle of Palms or the beach at Sullivan's Island. Both are near each other and both great options. There is a paid area on Isle Palms if you'd like the convenience of easy parking and showers

Downtown Charleston is a short Uber away! Often under $10 to get you to downtown, and the great thing is you don't have to worry about parking. Charleston is often ranked as the Best City in America, and a large part of that is because of the culinary and nightlife scene
You say you want to go dancing but you're on a budget? The Charleston Swing Dance Association has a weekly Sat. night dance here no partner needed. Lessons provided and yes its a cheap date! My wife and I have been going for years.
