Great place to start a walk on the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. Absolutely stunning sunsets. In the winter you can skate-ski or fat-tire bike from here. You can also go ice-skating on the lake. In the summer it's a great spot to bird-watch or go paddle-boarding.

In spring and summer this place is well worth a visit. You can easily spend an hour or two wondering from one garden to another and admire the beutiful flowers. Better yet, pack a basket and have a picnic!

From the Seward Highway just before the left turn into the Potter Marsh parking lot, you are treated to a stunning view of Turnagain Arm. A wooden boardwalk winds 1,550 feet from the parking area through the marsh and across watery openings and sedges, perfect habitat for a rich variety of birds.
