Urquhart Castle sits beside Loch Ness. It is 21 kilometers from Inverness. If you don't want to drive there are many tours from Inverness. A Jacobite Cruise will take 3 hours . You will cruise the canal and the Loch and be dropped at Urquhart Castle to explore for an hour.
