Definitely one of my favourite places to visit in Omaha. Lauritzen often runs special exhibtions such as the Poinsettia one at Christmas. The tropical gardens are a great indoor activity in the winter time. Needless to say, summer at Lauritzen is beautiful too!

This is a must for culture vultures and families alike. As well as a wonderful art collection, there is a cafe and a cute gift store. The basement is home to Art Works, a FREE kids activity centre, with lots of fun, interactive, and colourful things to do!

Old Market lives up to its name. It is the quaint and charming historical centre of Omaha. Lots of bars, restaurants, and independent stores to keep you entertained.
The Old Market
A little more off beat and modern than the Jocelyn Museum, the Kaneko is an interesting space, and definitely worth a visit if you're in the Old Market area.

Summer time ushers in the Farmer's Market every Sunday, and very often, free open air concerts in the evening. The newly opened Inner Rail Food Hall offers outstanding international cuisine. You can pair your meal with a drink of your choice from the on site bar.
