Hof is a cultural building designed for music and other performing arts, as well as top-notch facilities for conferences and meetings, receptions, parties and exhibitions. Inside Hof you will find the Akureyri tourist information center, a restaurant service and most days/evenings some cultural event is taking place. The building was opened in August 2010.

Sightseeing
The Akureyri church is the symbol of Akureyri. It is a Lutheran church and was designed by architect Gudjon Samuelsson and consecrated in 1940.
