There are definitely places that serve better coffee, danish and food, but Ritorno’s original interior from the 40s and 50s creates a unique atmosphere that contrasts to the busy city life outside.

A beloved place amongst locals for having picnics and parties under the open sky, with stunning panoramic views over Kungsholmen, Gamla Stan, the Stockholm Town Hall, and other points of interest. Bring your food and some drinks and enjoy the sunset.

Step down into a beautifully decorated underworld featuring relics rescued from some of the buildings pulled down during the redevelopment of central Stockholm during the 1950s and 1960s. I would recommend entering the metro-station from Arsenalsgatan.
