The jet ski tour is well worth the money. We signed up for the military base tour, but they ended up combining our tour (4 people) with a dolphin tour (2 people). I'm glad they did! We weren't actually able to get very close to any Navy ships, but the huge pod of dolphins we hung out with made up for it. There were at least twenty of them and many surfaced within feet of the jet skis. The jet skis were very comfortable for an adult and a child to ride together

I'm glad they did! We weren't actually able to get very close to any Navy ships, but the huge pod of dolphins we hung out with made up for it. We did the morning dolphin kayak tour in the chesapeake bay and it was such a fun experience! Brody and Steven were so knowledgeable of the dolphins and the environment we were in and they really connected with each of us kayakers! I couldn’t have asked for a better tour and we will definitely be back in the future!

The highest was 60 ft and 100 yds long! A must do for the avid thrill seeker or conquer it as a family/friend event. Don’t forget your bug spray and sunscreen. Here are my fav brunch spots. Don't be in a hurry because the wait will be ridiculous if you are. Hang out, have a mimosa and enjoy some amazing food!
Oh my gosh. One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. We got Pancakes, French toast, Bacon and Cinnamon rolls. We even got a cinnamon roll to go because it was just that good. The waiter was very nice and the valet parking service was neat. We will definitely be back before our vacation is over.

Doc Taylor’s is my go-to breakfast place when I’m in VA Beach. The environment is great, the staff is awesome and everything tastes great. I felt COVID safe while dining. I will return in my next trip.

Honestly, this place is one of the best italian restaurants I've ever been to and I'm from atlanta! The piano player is a true blue musician! And THE FOOD. . . they put their soul in to it . That's all I have to say! 11/10!!

We highly recommend Grain! We enjoyed a lovely lunch on the patio, with a fabulous view. The food was amazing; we had the chicken sandwich and the poke bowl. We plan to make Grain one of our regular lunch spots every week! We cannot wait to return!

The fresh catch of the day was fantastic and so was the fried flounder sandwich! My wife loves the crab dip and the atmosphere is one of a kind for sure. The swinging tables are really cool and if you go late enough you can see some of the charters on what they caught! I highly recommend this place and next time we are down there we will be back!

I highly recommend this place and next time we are down there we will be back!

If you’re in the Virginia Beach area (or Norfolk) it is a MUST to stop by. You can enjoy the fire pits, swinging chairs, picnic tables and overall beautiful scenery! The staff is also knowledgeable, friendly and open to chat! Finally they have food trucks with reasonable prices available too!

This museum was awesome. I'm not an airplane enthusiast, but these were quite interesting. There is a WWII hanger and a WWI hanger. The volunteers are super knowledgeable and very friendly. I learned a lot about war planes. Come on a summer Saturday to catch an airplane show. In spite of the fact that you can't touch anything, my two boys, 4 and 7 yo, were intrigued the entire visit. Big parking lot available. Don't forget to stop by the dinosaur park on your way out. Entrance fee required to the museum, dinosaur park is free.

It is visually stimulating for all (young, tweens, adults, seniros and special needs). I took my mother and my nephew who is a special needs preschooler - both were overwhelmed with the attractions (coral reef, sharks, assortment of fish, sting rays, lobster, etc.) A great way to spend a rainy, cold Saturday. We spent about 3 hours there - lots of walking. Limited seating for resting; no room for boredom. So much to see!
I went on a solo nature walk, leaving the fam at our rented VRBO. From the bay to the wetlands to the dunes and beach, it was SO peaceful and I loved reading the signs along the way. I didn't see any raptors, but that's just my own luck. Came back a second time for sunset - spectacular, from the parking lot or from one of the western-facing docks.

4005 Sandpiper RdI went on a solo nature walk, leaving the fam at our rented VRBO. From the bay to the wetlands to the dunes and beach, it was SO peaceful and I loved reading the signs along the way. I didn't see any raptors, but that's just my own luck. Came back a second time for sunset - spectacular, from the parking lot or from one of the western-facing docks.
