A small town on the Cumberland River. The highlight for us is the greenway, a reclaimed railway bed. 7 miles long one way, 12 min from the cabin. It’s shaded all day and a great way to exercise and enjoy a quiet walk along the river.

We love authentic Mexican, so we can’t vouch for this being the best, but they do a good job with some of the dishes and it is consistently good. $2.25 Dos Equis on draft too!

Sightseeing
Cheatham Lock and Dam is a nice place to walk and watch the Cumberland River roll by. If you time it right one of the big, white barges will pass through the lock, down river to Kentucky or up river to Nashville.
