This is our favorite breakfast place. Farm to table and fresh, they specialize in baked goods and always have wonderful diverse menu items. They are open for breakfast and lunch. If you don't have a car, there is a Point Lookout bus that runs from the LIRR train station that will take you there. Don't miss this little gem while visiting Long Beach.

If you want good seafood in an outdoor setting, this is it. They even have a little beach on the bay, where you can sip a cocktail and sit in an Adirondack chair while dipping you toes in the water!

This is our favorite diner in the area. They're open late and early. Greek run diner, they know their stuff! You can't go wrong! If you want some late night eggs and a great cup of coffee or cappuccino, this is your place!

La Bottega is a chain but each restaurant is run a little differently. This particular location is run by owners from Italy, and you can tell by the food they serve. It's always good. The only thing I wouldn't order is their pizza. They have amazing Italian dishes, wonderful salads, and great sandwiches. All can be delivered right on the beach! Beer and wine too.

This is my favorite Japanese place in town. Very clean, a little pricey. If you don't have transportation, this is the place to go for sushi or a great Japanese meal.

This is the best coffee in town! They roast their own coffee and they just opened up a place on the boardwalk. They also have delicious treats! You can take a walk and grab a wonderful cup of coffee and enjoy the scenery!

Allegria is a beautiful setting right on the Long Beach boardwalk and not too far if you want to walk there. Call the hotel for events and happenings, salsa dancing night is a blast. They have a rooftop bar that is spectacular.

Getting Around
The Long Island Railroad (LIRR) will get you into Penn Station in an hour, trains run every hour on the hour (usually).
Buses run from there as well. The East loop bus leaves the station and will drop you off right on Maple (sometimes they will leave you off right in front of the house). The West loop bus will take you to party town in the West end, where you will find nightlife and bars etc.

If you want a fantastic massage, then this is the place! Brian is our favorite and teaches massage in the city, so he really knows his stuff. He's helped us out after debilitating injuries. Although he is our first choice, all the other therapists there are wonderful-you can't go wrong. They also offer facials.
