It's located in a quaint little area off Kingsway with a few other interesting restaurants, coffee shops, a gluten-free bakery and more. It's a 30min walk, or a quick drive, bus or ride away.

This is one of our favourite hiking parks in the city, located on the West side just before UBC. It's huge with lots of trails. It has that big forest feel. Hike from the south end to the north end and walk along the bluffs, then walk down to the beach for a stunning view. If you check the tide tables you can catch the beach at low tide... it's absolutely worth timing it right. You can walk hundreds of meters on the sand until you feel like you're in the middle of the channel.

5495 W 16th AveThis is one of our favourite hiking parks in the city, located on the West side just before UBC. It's huge with lots of trails. It has that big forest feel. Hike from the south end to the north end and walk along the bluffs, then walk down to the beach for a stunning view. If you check the tide tables you can catch the beach at low tide... it's absolutely worth timing it right. You can walk hundreds of meters on the sand until you feel like you're in the middle of the channel.

Easily a full-day adventure.
