We really recommend taking a stroll out to the tip of Nordnes, especially around sunset. The walk only takes about 30 mins, and you’ll pass by traditional wooden houses and the Aquarium on your way.

The beautiful pavillion in the middle of town is heavily decorated with flowers from spring to fall. Early birds (or winter birds) may catch the sun rise from behind Mt. Ulriken from the pavillion.

The Edward Grieg museum is a must for anyone interested in classical music. We’d recommend taking a guided tour with bus, lunch concert and admittance to the museum for 250 NOK (1.june - 30th sept).

An old wooden church that was originally built in 1150, it was later moved, and burnt down in 1992. The rebuilt church is a replica of the original church. Admission is 55 NOK to enter the church.

Great views from the most centrally located mountain in Bergen. Only a short hike away from the city center. There's also a trolly that takes you all the way up to the mountain top if you don't feel like hiking. Bring a snack and enjoy the scenery!

Visit the historic fortress of king Sverre built in 1180. It features great views of the fjord of Bergen, and is a nice "secret" get away from the hustle and bustle of town. Bring some snacks and enjoy the sunset view!

A great "hidden gem" in the restaurant world of Bergen. Come here to eat lunch, dinner or just have a glass of wine and enjoy a great view over Bergen. The restaurant is in the top floor of the Scandic Ørnen hotel near the bus station in the city center.

Located right behind Mt. Fløien is Skomakerdiket. A small lake with a camping site. Bring a disposable grill and some food and enjoy the scenery. Remember to bring some extra bread to feed the ducks :)
