My favourite food place on the island. George (the owner) is always smiling, eager to serve their amazing dishes. You cannot go wrong with any choice (if so, let me know), but the Fish-Souvlaki should be ordered every time!

The jewel in the crown of Aegina island. Whether or not you are especially interested in history and archaeology, failure to visit this outstanding monument would be a great pity.
It is a stunning example of ancient architecture set in a beautiful natural forested area with sensational views across the island to the sea.

Świątynia Ateny Aphaia
The jewel in the crown of Aegina island. Whether or not you are especially interested in history and archaeology, failure to visit this outstanding monument would be a great pity.
It is a stunning example of ancient architecture set in a beautiful natural forested area with sensational views across the island to the sea.
Perdika village enchants many visitors with its simple charm. It is a small fishing village set in a pretty little bay. The traditional fish tavernas, modern cafés & bars are situated on a raised terrace above the small harbour and these are what attract the day visitor whether from Athens or Aegina Town. It is claimed that this is the best place on the island to come and enjoy a fish lunch overlooking the peaceful bay and Moni island beyond.
The old town has the characterictics of the Aegean Sea-style of white square houses and narrow streets. Lots of charter yachts are having Perdika as their first or last day destination. Especially in the weekends Perdika is very lively, mostly with Greek weekend tourists.

A mountain village with its characterful church and a small gem of a theatre where performances of the highest quality take place. The village has no stores and on the cobbled streets car traffic is not allowed. Many of the houses have been or are being restored making the village an example of aesthetic beauty.

Bring or Rent a car
Taxis are available on the island, but we suggest you bring a car from Athens, or rent one on the island for easier transportation and better exploration. The island’s rental fleet is limited, so better book in advance.

Town promenade closed at night
Cars are not allowed through the promenade past 9.00 pm. If you visit the town around those hours, prefer to park on the side towards the house to avoid the long way around
