Another favorite. Great food. Excellent atmosphere. Don't let the word "tavern" fool you, Chilmark is a dry town so bring your own wine, beer or alcohol (they have the mixers) -- it's part of the charm :)

Long Point has an inlet with calm waters for little ones, but for those who want to brave the waves of a ocean-facing beach, Long Point offers a dramatically beautiful spot. Also, trails for walks. Arrive early, the parking lot fills up.
