This place has great food! It kinda has a hip LA vibe to it, like someone from LA came to the mountains to open one of the only good restaurants. It's kinda pricey but very good food!

Amazingly romantic mountain restaurant! Sit by the fireplace and enjoy a delicious meal. This is one of the best places on the mountain, and a go to for romance.

Really romantic patio in the trees! Its about a 25 minute drive from the house, but the drive is so beautiful, you can see views of the city below. The pizza here is fantastic and so is the beer. They even have gluten free pizza! Great group spot if its warm enough to sit on the patio.

Literally a sushi place in the middle of nowhere in the desert. This place is hilarious but amazingly good food! Its owned by an old Japanese couple that used to have a restaurant in LA but wanted more of the desert life. Its 30 mins drive down the backside of the mountain, but you won't regret going here!

Such a beautiful trail! GPS your way to Camp Seeley for correct directions. Then follow signs from there. If you plug "heart rock" into google it leads you to the middle of no where!

You can hike here! Just avoid camp counselors that tell you that you need a visitor pass. 99% of the time we dont see anyone when we go up here... trails for miles!

There is a trail all the way around the lake, it takes about an hour to walk around. There is also a dog park here. A great place to rent a boat in the summer, or sit on the sandy beach!
