From our house go to the seafront and walk along the promenade eastwards (left); you'll pass the Redoubt Fortress and a Natural Fitness Centre on the way. Post lockdown they are covid-aware, with a reduced menu to minimise the number of kitchen staff, careful seating arrangements and spray cleaning of chairs and tables between guests.

Beautiful views of the lighthouse. There is car parking nearby or get a bus from the pier; walkers just head upwards from the Wish Tower then up the grassy hill by Bede's School. Definitely worth the walk on a fine day. The Beachy Head Pub is good for family meals.
