The idea was conceived by the artist Gabriel Orozco, who lived in New York, Jose Kuri, who at the time was studying an MA in Columbia, and Monica Manzutto, Kuri's wife, who worked at the prestigious Marian Goodman Gallery. They started with offices in the Condesa Buildings on Mazatlan Street. The architect Alberto Kalach handled the architectural project in a house in San Miguel Chapultepec. Now representing important artists internationally.
