This is a very beautiful neigbour hood, especially the houses and buildings built by The architect Decimus Burton in the early 1800s.
There is a stony beach, which is fantastic in summer for swimming, and in autumn and winter and spring a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the view and catch the sea breeze.
There are many Cafes and restaurants and coffee shops in the area with more popping up all the time.
please don’t forget the Kino theatre this is in the middle of Saint Leonards in Norman Road, the cinema shows films & various productions of opera and music most evenings, and it’s a beautiful building with a coffee shop and restaurant.
If you like great outdoors there are many coastal and country walks you can easily reach from this house.

Beautiful Italian food, and fantastic service from this famous family run restaurant. This place is a must all year round & tables outside in summer are highly recommended & don’t forget to pre-book to avoid disappointment as this is a very popular spot for locals and visitors alike.

Bayte’s menu pays particular reference to the Italian recipes that Ruby grew up with including substantial vegan and vegetarian selections, and all of their meat is free-range and reared on organic farms. Alongside an inventive, seasonally inspired menu, Bayte offers up bar snacks including ham croquettas and parmesan fritters plus a cocktail list including signature cocktail The Bayte (Bayou Dark Louisiana Rum, Amaro Del Capo, Luxardo Cherry and bitters).
