Children can feed the squirrels and there is a Koy Karp fishpond close to the tennis courts, behind the cafe. Cafe is nice and not expensive.

Lovely old theatre - worth a visit if you like the cinema as part of your visit. A 10 minute walk down hill on Chatham Place towards Preston Circus - the cinema is at the bottom on the opposite side of the road, next to the fire station. You can't miss it, it has a pair of striped stocking legs sticking out of the roof top.
