My best ‘to-do’ tips for wonderful days in Amsterdam
Large area in Amsterdam with a park, several restaurants and lots of activities. I recommend walking around, having lunch at Cantine de Caron and ending with some fun (arcade) games at the TonTon club!
The whole area has a unique, industrial vibe that matches perfectly with its cultural leanings. It is easy enough to spend entire evenings wandering between Westergasfabriek’s long list of attractions, which include restaurants, music venues, an arthouse cinema and the largest coin-op arcade in the city.

A once in a lifetime dinner experience. BUT you need to book in advance! A special boat takes you to the island on which you get a 5-course menu with fresh regional products. Very much loved by locals for datenight!

Around the corner of our home, you find the famous "Nine Little Streets", which are filled with boutique shops, coffee places, vintage stores and much more. Great to walk around, do some shopping and have lunch.

De Pijp (The Pipe), a residential neighbourhood situated in the south part of Amsterdam, was previously home to the working class. Now, it’s one of the city’s most hip and trendy areas, bursting with cozy cafes, diverse restaurants and a lively nightlife. You'll find the Sarphatipark to walk around in, The Heineken Experience, The Albert Cuyp market (local food market), and great bars and restaurants - among which Cafe Caron and Petit Caron (must visits!)
