Places we love to swim at
Our favourite place to swim is at Happy Valley. It's the closest beach to us, and we often snag a spot under the boardwalk for shade. The latest weather conditions have created a lagoon-like area at the southern end of Happy Valley which is great for younger kiddos or the stand up paddle board.
Our children also like to wait for low tide and play beach cricket down there, it's a great spot.
Walk towards the road, turn left before you cross the road and follow the path down to the park - you can't miss the beach.

This is a really nice sheltered spot, with lots of options for food to takeaway and eat at the beach. There's a really nice gelato shop at Rumba, one of our favourites is the cherry ripe ice cream!

This is a great place, any time of the day! This beachfront cafe is open early for brekky through to late for drink and dinner. The staff are always friendly, and the coffee is good!

These markets have lots of good food - they are held every Sunday morning from 8am - 12 noon. A nice easy walk from the apartment.
There are similar markets on the last Friday evening of every month (except July and August) along Bulcock Beach at The Esplanade.
Currimundi Lake Twilight Markets are also held on the third last Friday of every month - these are set in a beautiful location, but seem to get quite busy, so get there early. They start at 4pm.

I had an amazing visit here - the infra red sauna was gorgeous, the float pool was amazing and the massage so relaxing - I highly recommend it!

We've had some great trail rides here - it's less than 30 minutes drive away, and a really fun experience. You don't need to have ridden before to enjoy this activity!
