Technically serving as the all-day cafe at Parker Palm Springs, Norma’s is the kind of scene you came to Palm Springs to experience – especially at 12:30pm on a Saturday. Locals draped in Vivienne Westwood and drinking chardonnay before lunch, stressed-out bridal parties guzzling mimosas, and you and your friends going to town on fish tacos and Bloody Marys before hitting the pool for the next 72 hours.

Norma's

Joshua Tree National Park is a vast protected area in southern California. It's characterized by rugged rock formations and stark desert landscapes. Named for the region’s twisted, bristled Joshua trees, the park straddles the cactus-dotted Colorado Desert and the Mojave Desert, which is higher and cooler. Keys View looks out over the Coachella Valley. Hiking trails weave through the boulders of Hidden Valley.

The 26-foot sculpture by Seward Johnson was a tourism phenomenon during her initial Palm Springs debut (2012-2014). Marilyn Monroe has a rich history with Palm Springs, beginning in 1949 when she was discovered at Charlie Farrell’s Racquet Club by William Morris talent agent, Johnny Hyde.

Museum Way“Forever Marilyn” has made her way back to Palm Springs! Her new home is at the corner of Museum Way and Belardo Road. It was opened in September 1963 as a way of getting from the floor of the Coachella Valley to near the top of San Jacinto Peak and was constructed in rugged Chino Canyon. Before its construction, the only way to the top of the mountain was to hike hours from Idyllwild. The rotating cars were added in 2000.
