Excellent beach about 40 minutes away. Worth the trip as it's got 2 beaches to explore and plenty of space for a picnic. When the food vendors come I recommend trying some of the ceviche. The drive past Optional is also quite picturesque during the high season and offers some challenges when the rainy season visits.

Delicious food. Female run restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner adjacent to the landing strip in Nosara. Great cocktail selection as well. Fresh typical style Costa Rican food with some creative dishes as well.
