Fountainstown beach is located 10 minutes by car from the property. There are two beach areas (rocky not sandy) and is popular with sea swimmers as well as walkers.

One of the most beautiful beaches in west cork . Popular with surfers and sun worshippers. Beautiful dunes also ! Family favourite beach . Amazing at sunrise and sunset also. Grab lunch at the hotel.

The Ballycotton Cliff Walk is not to be missed, especially when the sun is shining – beautiful views. This 13km walk weaves its way along the Cork coast and showcases spectacular scenes of Ballycotton Lighthouse and the Wild Atlantic Way. Along the way you’ll discover a small beach. There is a shorter 5km route you can take as well as pitch and putt. Cush is highly recomended for lunch or dinner. There is live music in the village every weekend.
