There are many beaches along the road, the closest to the house is Blue Mountain beach.
Walk or bike to the beach to exercise, fish offshore or drive and park. There is public restroom and water hose to wash off sand from your feet when you are done. Dont forget camera to capture bonfire or sunset.

The best about this is few steps away location, free parking and amenities. If you walk all way to the right - you will find more privacy than on other beaches. You may fish offshore - just need to get fishing license.
