Indian food that is a good option for take out. It is reasonably priced. Not the best atmosphere, but food is good.
Great food to go. If you like Indian food, this is the place. My favorite dish is the Taka masala.

This place can be a romantic fun place for a couple. They have amazing mixed drinks and their pizzas are freshly made with a stove oven. It is kind of expensive, so I like to go eat somewhere else and then stop by for a drink... the place is very nice.

Short on change? Get a hearty meal at Don Pedro. They have all the traditional mexican meals- beans, rice, tacos. If you are really hungry, the meat nachos will feed three people! It is huge:) This is the most economical of all restaurants on Third Ave.

My favorite is the Guayaba Strudel, the best in the planet. Chef-owned, believes in cooking with the freshest and best ingredients. I freeze the bread and it maintains its freshness for at least a month. Get some to go!
