Alternative area with lots of bars, coffee shops and restaurants at good prices with nice vibes. The streets running off Cours Julien are coated in beautiful graffiti art with small little shops selling second hand, hand made, art and much more to explore.
Every Wednesday there is an organic market which is well worth a visit if you are wanting to buy fresh provencal produce.

I really love this area, almost feels like a village within the city. There are some lovely restaurants, bars and your typical local wine shops, bakery and butchers. Walking around here gives you a real feel of what Marseille is like.

These are not just places where I shop but also places that I just like wondering around to get inspiration from.
I can wonder around this shop for hours. They literally have everything from kitchen ware, clothing, toys, marseille soap to tools. And of course lots of little things that are perfect for gifts. The staff are extremely kind and always happy to help. Very much a must visit!
